The School of art, architecture and designThe school is internationally recognised for its high quality teaching, excellent facilities and unique interdisciplinary opportunities. Learning through practice, playing with process and working with clients, students at the school gain real world experience in both individual and collaborative projects, engaging with professionals, communities and companies. There is a strong emphasis in our studios on socially engaged Architecture, Art and Design applied to both local and global contexts, and many projects focus on London. Our central London location also gives you easy access to the creative and cultural hub which surrounds the Aldgate Campus. Our many specialist facilities include wood and metal workshops, laboratories, TV and recording studios, editing suites, darkrooms and Metropolitan Works our digital manufacturing centre. Many of our students have exhibited at major international exhibitions and festivals and have won prestigious awards.

Second year BA Fashion students from London Metropolitan University's School of Art, Architecture and Design (AAD) present to you the “FREAK SHOW” , an immersive and vivid presentation of fashion and performance. As Frank Zappa said, "Freaking out is a process whereby an individual casts off outmoded and restricted standards of thinking, dress and social etiquette in order to express creatively his relationship to his environment and the social structure as a whole”Come join us in the freak scene at 4.30pm in The Atrium s at London Met’s Aldgate campusKeeping You SafeTo keep you safe we currently have a <a href="https://www.londonmet.ac.uk/2020changes/keeping-you-safe-on-campus/test-to-access/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">test to access</a> policy on both of our campuses. Please note – you're required to show proof of a negative COVID-19 test, from within the three days prior to the event.
