Can I bring my own bike to work on?

Accepted Answer

No. These workshops are popular and there isn't the space for everyone to bring and work on their own bike. If you want to work on your own bike we suggest booking on to one of our home mechanic courses.

Question 2

What should I wear?

Accepted Answer

Sensible clothing and footwear should be worn. Avoid any loose flapping items and wear a full shoe (no sandals or flip flops). Make sure long hair is tied back and remove any hand jewellery e.g. rings.

Tell me about the facilities?

Accepted Answer

Learning will take place at our cycle mechanics training academy which includes a temperature controlled classroom and workshop with professional level tools and equipment.

Question 4

Tell me about the tutor?

Accepted Answer

Your tutor is a Cytech Master Mechanic and holds a relevant teaching qualification. He has many years experience fixing bikes, teaching cycle maintenance and assessing apprentices within the cycling industry. He also has the relevant professional indemnity insurance.
