FREE: Word Problems Explore Learning Workshop (Ages 9-11)

Problem solving is a key feature of the National Curriculum and built into the Programmes of Study in different topic areas such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, etc. The aim of this workshop is to allow members to develop their strategies for solving problems so that this can be applied in whichever context. Some of the content is challenging in order to have differentiation across the group of Year 5s and 6s, but the main focus is for the children to demonstrate the 4-stage problem-solving strategy that we go through with them.
