Do I need to bring any equipment?

We provide yoga mats, as well as equipment we regularly use such as yoga blocks. However, if you have your own mat and/or equipment that you are used to practicing with and you would like to bring it, then you are welcome to do so.

What should I wear?

Accepted Answer

You should wear comfortable clothes suitable for physical exercise. You should be able to move freely, so avoid restrictive materials like jeans or belts.

Question 3

Do I need to be flexible/strong/very fit to do yoga?

Accepted Answer

No! Our free yoga taster class is open to everyone, and we have classes available to suit all levels of fitness and mobility at Physio & More.

Question 4

I have a health condition, is yoga suitable for me?

Accepted Answer

If you have a health condition, you must speak to your doctor or healthcare provider for their approval before starting a new exercise programme. We cannot advise on whether yoga is suitable for specific health conditions, but you can message us if you have any concerns.

Question 5

Can I practice yoga if I am pregnant?

Accepted Answer

Yes, as long as your doctor or healthcare provider has not advised you otherwise. Please advise the teacher that you are pregnant prior to starting a class. The teacher may provide recommendations based on the stage of your pregnancy to adapt the movement practice to work for you.
