Rail Alliance - not to be used wef Jan 2022

Rail plays a vital role in the freight market, as a standalone or more crucially as a piece in the multi-modal jigsaw.  Also listed as one of the key elements of the RSSB’s Rail Technical Strategy, freight is one of the key capabilities on which there is a vast amount of current and potential focus.  Our speakers at this event are all key figures in the freight arena, and as such we will be looking at opportunities in freight on the regional, national and international scale, and discussing routes not only in to supply chain, but also into funding and R&D in freight.  
This event will also provide those newer to the freight supply chain with a detailed introduction into current and future opportunities, and underline the fact that freight miles are just as important as passenger miles when considering the wider economic impact of the railway sector and its supply chain.
Speaker confirmed so far hail from the Rail Freight Group, Network Rail, Stobart Rail, the KTN and the Liverpool Combined Authority.

As is normal practice doors will open at 10am for registration followed by presentations and concluded with a complementary networking lunch.
