How do we stay balanced in a world that often feels unfair?

Many of us deeply care about rights, justice, and fairness, yet the suffering we see—both around us and in the world—can leave us feeling angry, frustrated, or helpless.

From a Buddhist perspective, there’s a powerful inner path to respond wisely to injustice. It doesn’t mean becoming passive or indifferent, but developing the strength to act with compassion, clarity and peace.

In this evening session, Kadam John will explore:

  • A Buddhist view on rights, justice and fairness, rooted in wisdom and compassion
  • How to remain steady and peaceful while facing inequality or social harm
  • Practical tools for maintaining hope, clarity and kindness in uncertain times

Kadam John is the Resident Teacher of Heruka Kadampa Meditation Centre. He has over 30 year's of experience in Kadampa Buddhism. He is a joyful and inspiring teacher. Known for his practical advice and compassionate clarity, he makes profound Buddhist teachings accessible and relevant to modern London life.
