Friday Night Special - Extended Practice with Tamara

Friday Night Specials are our end-of-week reset: a 90-minute class every Friday at 7pm with a rotating line-up of teachers and themes.

An extended practice of fire and earth. Strong, grounded movement to reawaken the body, followed by deep intentional rest. With the body feeling alive and warmth nourishing the system, the rest of yoga nidra allows everything to settle, soften and integrate. After intensity comes serenity.

Sāmya Studios is your neighbourhood studio in the heart of Islington for movement, mindfulness, community, and care. We offer classes and treatments to help you come back to yourself and your own inherent wisdom. Our light-filled studio is intentionally designed to give you a sense of release from the pressure of the city and bring you back into balance.
