Friday Women’s Creative Space
Women’s art & craft club at BAC: weaving, embroidery, collage & personal projects in a relaxed women-only creative space.
A calm and welcoming women-only creative space to work on personal textile and mixed-media projects alongside others in community.
There is no precise plan for each Friday session in June.
You are welcome to join in with the ongoing activities, take inspiration from what others are creating, or choose a smaller project if you prefer a gentler pace or want time to catch up. The art facilitator is available to offer support while also participating in the creative process, and weaving techniques, embroidery, and textile skills can be shared naturally throughout the sessions.
All levels of experience are warmly welcome.
This month, a small group of us will be continuing and finishing our own fabric and storytelling pieces before exploring weaving techniques that can incorporate our individual textile designs and creations into our own personal artworks.
Women are warmly invited to:
• Continue unfinished creative projects
• Explore weaving and textile techniques
• Bring stitching, collage, embroidery, crochet, journaling, fabric work, or mixed-media pieces
• Work independently while enjoying shared creative space and company
This is not a formal class but a relaxed shared creative environment with light creative guidance, inspiration, conversation, and space to make alongside others.
