FRISP/ITGC - September 2019

The 33rd Forum for Research into Ice Shelf Processes (FRISP, <A HREF="https://www.bas.ac.uk/event/frisp-2019" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://www.bas.ac.uk/event/frisp-2019</A>) and the 2019 annual meeting of the International Thwaites Glacier Collaboration (ITGC, <A HREF="https://thwaitesglacier.org" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://thwaitesglacier.org</A>) will be held at The Queen’s College, Oxford, UK:
<UL>
<LI>
FRISP will run from Sunday evening to Wednesday lunchtime (15-18 September);
</LI>
<LI>
ITGC will run from Wednesday lunchtime to Thursday evening (18-19 September). 
</LI>
</UL>
To simplify the process for those wishing to attend both conferences, we will be doing joint registration. On this page you can register to attend just FRISP, just ITGC, or both.
Registration includes conference fees, accommodation, and meals. Those registering:

<LI>
for FRISP only will be provided with accommodation for Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday nights through to lunch on Wednesday. 
</LI>
<LI>
for ITGC only will be provided with accommodation for Wednesday and Thursday nights. 
</LI>
</UL>
If you are only attending ITGC and wish to arrive on Tuesday, you will need to find alternate accommodation for this night.
Important notes:

<LI>
Shared rooms at FRISP are reserved for students, as they have a reduced cost but are limited in number. Students can still register for a single room if they wish.
</LI>
<LI>
At ITGC, shared rooms are available to anyone. However, if you are attending both conferences, the room type (single or shared) must match. So non-students attending both conferences must select a single room for both.
</LI>
<LI>
Some ITGC attendees will have their conference fees paid by BAS. If you are eligible, you will have received an email with a discount code.
</LI>
