About this event

  • 1 hour

Poor cousin to sophisticated nearby Hampstead and Highgate. Eclipsed in modern popular culture by ‘edgy’ Camden Town down the road. But Kentish Town has had an important role in London’s development from the medieval period to today. This virtual stroll will be taking in origins, industry, retail, transport, class, immigration and public figures. And where does the ‘Kentish’ come from? We might have a good stab at an answer. Join Tour Guide and Historian Colin Davey to learn more.

This event will be delivered both in-person and online.
