As the UK’s largest digital automotive marketplace, Auto Trader has never been short of data. 
With over 9 million monthly visitors searching and viewing around half a million car, van and bike adverts from almost 14,000 UK retailers, we work with an incredible amount of data. Through the evolution of our digital platforms and our innovative data products, we continue to make the car buying process easier for our customers. 
We’d like to share what we’ve learned along the way. Our Data Analysts and Software Developers will be delivering a series of short talks on how we've untapped and transformed a treasure trove of audience and vehicle information into valuable insight. 
From building an effective architecture to gathering and processing metrics to Machine Learning you'll hear about our tech stack and the techniques used to make this possible. This hasn’t been without its challenges and we’d like to share the pitfalls that we encountered.
This open night is primarily aimed at technology and data enthusiasts who wish to learn about how we do data-driven development.
