From Our Kitchens
Join Noby Leong and Abie Soroño for an afternoon of cooking, conversation and communal sharing at Kinning Park Complex, Southside Glasgow
Join Dr Noby Leong and Abie Soroño for an afternoon of cooking, conversation and communal sharing at Kinning Park Complex, Southside Glasgow.
Noby will demonstrate how to cook rendang, one of Malaysia and Indonesia's most iconic curries — teaching techniques to master spices and make bold, balanced dishes. He will also explore the history of rendang and how spices trace the movement of people across the world.
Attendees are also warmly welcome to bring a dish from their own culture to share. We encourage vegan dishes where possible, so that everyone can enjoy what's on the table together.
This free event is suitable for vegans and vegetarians. Attendees will get to sample rendang as well as various other Southeast Asian snacks. Dietary requirements will be gathered in advance.
