Most of the composers either experienced this or helped others who had. This resonated with my own lived experience of being an “outsider” when I was forced to leave Vienna where I had lived. This evening is a musical and discursive exploration of music by Vaughan Williams, Grace Williams, Egon Wellesz, Paul Ladmirault and John Hawkins with a seasonal carol by Grace Williams.
