Frontline Worker Network for VCS workers

The CircleSheffield, England
Tuesday, June 2  •  9:45 AM - 12 PM
Overview

Your monthly hosted space to meet other front line workers , paid and volunteers. A speaker and an activity to learn, share and relax!

Please bring a laptop with you if possible, as there will be time during the session to begin developing and writing your story contributions. Paper materials, pens and pencils will be provided.

The Sheffield Frontline Worker Network brings together people working across communities and services to connect, reflect and support one another.

Hosted by Shakila Sharif, Workforce Development Lead at Voluntary Action Sheffield, our network offers space to step away from the pace of frontline work, meet others from across the city and share experiences, ideas and opportunities.

This month’s session will focus on storytelling and the We Are Sheffield project as part of VAS 100.

Led by Annalisa Toccara-Jones, Communications Manager at Voluntary Action Sheffield, the workshop will explore how stories of community action and everyday life can help capture Sheffield’s history and the people behind it.

Through guided activities and discussion prompts, attendees will have the opportunity to begin developing their own story contributions for the project. There will also be time to share flyers, events and opportunities with the wider network.
