J﻿oin us for a learning and practical action workshop on pruning fruit trees in the Kymin Community Orchard.

W﻿e are delighted to have the chance to learn fruit tree pruning with Stephen Watts, trustee of <a href="http://ediculture.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Ediculture</a>, based at Coed Hills and grower of the beautiful forest garden there.We will cover all aspects of pruning and have time for hands on practice pruning the fruit trees in the Kymin Community Orchard. It&#x27;s sure to be a rich learning experience, Stephen&#x27;s knowledge of plants and our relationship with nature is awe-inspiring.T﻿ea, coffee and biscuits will be available throughout the session.P﻿lease bring secateurs if you have them, and a packed lunch. Dress in warm clothes and suitable shoes.W﻿e will meet at 10am by the garage in the heart of The Kymin. I﻿f you are able to make a donation towards the cost of the workshop and to support our future work, we are most grateful. However, the car park will be open._﻿_____The session is being delivered as part of our &#x27;Grow Food Eat Well&#x27; monthly sessions, which explore all aspects of local food, food growing and climate action. We are grateful for support from the National Lottery Community Fund &#x27;Together for our Planet&#x27; funding to help us make this happen.Penarth Growing Community is a Gwyrddio Penarth Greening (GPG) project that developed from a community-wide event held in January 2020 to gather ideas on how Penarth could take action locally to tackle the climate and nature crises.
