What should I bring?

A candle for the alter, a cushion to sit on (our supply is limited), a mug/flask/plate/cutlery for food & drink, a vegan food offering for the potluck and your acoustic instruments (only light percussion please) for the jam!

Which instruments should I bring?

There will be no amplification at this jam so bring any acoustic instruments you wish (although only light percussion please - djembe's to be left at home!).

What if I don't play an instrument? Am I still welcome?

Absolutely! The vast majority of folks at our jams come to sing along or just soak up the vibes so even if you don't want to get involved in the music-making then you are more than welcome.

What time do the doors close?

To preserve the intimacy and trust of the space, we ask you to arrive before 16:30, after which we will be (very lovingly) closing the door. We hope you understand.

A 4-min walk from Hackney Wick station. Head past the old Akasa (aka 'Open House Hackney') & coffee shop, do a little left then right, then head all the way down the drive until you get to the metal staircase at the end. Head up it to the first floor and the door will be open at the top.
