What should I bring?

A candle for the alter, a cushion to sit on (our supply is limited), a mug/flask/plate/cutlery for food & drink, a vegan food offering for the potluck and your acoustic instruments (only light percussion please) for the jam!

Which instruments should I bring?

There will be no amplification at this jam so bring any acoustic instruments you wish (although only light percussion please - djembe's to be left at home!).

What if I don't play an instrument? Am I still welcome?

Absolutely! The vast majority of folks at our jams come to sing along or just soak up the vibes so even if you don't want to get involved in the music-making then you are more than welcome.

What time do the doors close?

To preserve the intimacy and trust of the space, we ask you to arrive before 16:30, after which we will be (very lovingly) closing the door. We hope you understand.

Search 'Oslo House, Felstead Street' on Google Maps and head for the  blue 'Parking lot' pin at the end of Prince Edward Road. Then head up the stairs and we are on the first floor!

Yes, though no disabled facilities

Is there parking available?

Accepted Answer

Free on-street parking is usually available on Sundays around Hackney Wick (incl. resident & pay & display bays). Check signs and avoid yellow lines. If busy, park 5–10 mins away and walk. Paid driveways nearby can be booked in advance.
