Event description

Description

Welcome to the next Full Moon Circle at the Mission Hall, on Tues 12th November, the night the moon is full.

We live in a fast paced world and can sometimes forget to notice the cycles of nature that are occurring around (and within) us. The moon is silently and very powerfully completing a cycle of waning and waxing each month and when it is full, shines brightly in illumination of all that has been and all that is to be. Taking time to sit together in a circle when the moon is at it’s brightest can be a deeply enriching experience. Shining light on our inner landscape through deep listening and authentic sharing together, is a deceptively simple activity, that can birth powerful alchemy. In honour of this, Jenny holds a circle on the full moon.

This is a mixed gender circle and is slightly different each month, depending on this particular moon; it’s astrological influences and it’s relation to the natural calendar. This circle will be a held space that is co-created by your individual experience of this particular moon and the alchemy we weave as a group. It will contain reflection, deep listening, sharing, song, sound, ceremony, followed by an hour of creative play and manifestation.

We will create in response to what arose for us each, individually during the circle, helping to embody and manifest intentions going forward. There will be a selection of art materials available, including clay, paint, wire, beads and natural found objects. You are also welcome to bring anything materials wise you may like to work on/with.

The November moon is full in Taurus, an earth sign. We will connect into the nurturing energy of the earth. The earth receives anything we shed, due to no longer needing it and turns it into compost, which in turn nurtures and supports new growth, when the growing season starts again.

This full moon is close to Samhain. As the season turns and the nights get dark earlier, we see/feel the moon shining brightly, for longer. This makes it a powerful time of year for sharing, witnessing and letting go. Also for sowing new seeds, on an inner level, which will incubate over the coming months.

When we fully connect to endings we create more space for new beginnings.

Please bring an object of current significance to you, to share in the circle. Everything else is provided, including art materials.

Cost £16 if booked in advance (until Midnight on Mon 11th) £20 on the day.
Time 7.00 - 9pm
Numbers limited. Book a place via Eventbrite (Booking fee is included in the price) or contact Jenny if you would rather pay by card.

Jenny Smith is a professional artist and a qualified Shamanic Practitioner. She is interested in re-membering our inherent (and sometimes forgotten) relationship to the cycles of the natural world. She has been practicing Serene Reflection Meditation for 20 years and 5R's dance for 5 years. She holds the circle by drawing on her experience in all of the above, as well as following whatever she is guided to do in the moment.
