Identifying and measuring trees with the Field Studies Council (for 7 years plus)

Beckenham Place Park

Join us on a 2 hour exploration of the park to learn about trees. The park is full of thousands of magnificent trees, some ancient ones over 350 years old, and some tiny ones just 2 or 3 years old. You'll learn how to identify which type of tree is which, and have the chance to enjoy being close to these living, breathing features of our park.The Field Studies Council* runs the environmental education centre in the park and one of their tutors will be leading this workshop.The workshop is suitable for children aged 7 and over. Each child must be supervised by a responsible adult throughout. It is fine for one adult to supervise up to 3 children. Please only book one ticket per child - we will assume each child is being accompanied by an adult.Please wear sturdy footwear suitable for walking around the park.* https://www.field-studies-council.org/locations/london-beckenham-place-park/
