Who are the webinars for?

Accepted Answer

The webinars are for all aspiring and emerging theatre-makers, aged 18-28, who have an interest in learning more about the ‘business of theatre’ and how they can prepare themselves for a career in the industry.

What if I’m having issues, who do I contact?

If you are having trouble signing up for the webinars via Eventbrite or accessing the webinar link, please contact Digital Media Producer Jamie on jamie@scottishyouththeatre.org.

Question 4

Do I need to come to all the sessions? What if I’m not available for all the dates?

Accepted Answer

You don’t need to attend all webinars in the series – pick and choose which are of most interest to you! Check the dates of each session and sign up for as many as you want. Remember, if you want to go to all, you need to select a ‘ticket’ for every webinar!

Do I need to have participated in a previous Fundamentals masterclass before?

You don’t need to have taken part in a previous Fundamentals workshop or Scottish Youth Theatre activity before. This online series is open to all young theatre-makers, aged 18-28, who are based in Scotland.

Question 6

Who will the workshops be led by?

Accepted Answer

The workshops will be led by members of the Scottish Youth Theatre team alongside industry professionals knowledgeable about each topic – ready to answer any burning questions you may have.

Question 7

Will I be asked to participate in the webinar?

Accepted Answer

No, the sessions will be led by and in conversation with the Scottish Youth Theatre team and industry professionals, but you are welcome to ask questions via the chatbox.
