What if non-anthropocentric strategies could help build a healthier future? How can our current assumptions and behaviors be reframed beyond the human world to adapt to the climate crisis?We are happy to invite you to a workshop based on our latest project, called Fungi as Method- a new system of thinking inspired by fungi. These living organisms, nearly as ancient as the Earth, break down materials, provide nutrients, maintain ecosystems, and have survived several geological eras by functioning sustainably. Fungi as Method is defined by four biological principles, each depicting a key process or relationship in the fungi&#x27;s life. We will take the participants through a journey exploring these four pillars: resource recovery, symbiotic evolution, mutualistic relationships, and topology networks. These principles will be applied to the online world through exercises that transform digital waste into a &quot;material&quot; that is generative and cooperative. This online workshop will help our collective refine our development of Fungi as Method by informing us on the limitations and potential of our concept.Please note the workshop will be recorded.
