Overview

Learn to fuse glass into your own, unique, glass wishstick in this involved workshop with award-winning artist Gigha Klinkenborg.

Fused Glass Wishsticks Workshop with Gigha Klinkenborg
Sunday 25th January | 4 hours

Join award-winning glass artist Gigha Klinkenborg for a vibrant, hands-on workshop where you'll create your own colourful glass wishstick.
In this fun and creative session, you’ll learn the essential techniques of fused glass art, from cutting glass with confidence to working with frit (crushed glass), stringers (glass spaghetti), glass paints, and beautiful murrine (tiny handmade glass flowers and leaves).

You’ll design and decorate your own unique wishstick, brimming with colour and personality.

Once complete, your creations will be taken away to be fired in a specialist glass kiln, and then returned for you to collect a week later; beautifully polished, permanent, and perfect for display inside or outside.

No prior experience necessary. Just bring your curiosity and a spark of imagination!

Open shoes are NOT recommended due to small glass pieces.
