Future Builders

Most events end with notes. This one ends with something you built. In one evening, you will go from an idea you have never acted on to a working prototype you have pitched out loud to a room. Not a plan. Not a slide. A real thing, made by you, in four hours.

What you walk away with

• A working prototype you built. Something real you can show people, keep developing, or simply prove to yourself you could make.
• Confidence that transfers. Once you have taken an idea from nothing to a pitch in four hours, "I wouldn't know where to start" stops being true.
• A skill everyone is hiring for. You will use AI and no-code tools to build, which is fast becoming the most practical skill in any career, not just technical ones.
• People worth knowing. Mentors, founders and industry experts from across the Milton Keynes tech community, in the room, at your table, talking to you.
• A certificate and a story. Proof for your CV, your applications and your interviews,and an answer to "tell me about a time you built something".

Why we are doing this

Too many people have a good idea and never start. Not because they lack ability, but because nobody ever showed them the first step, and because "you need to be technical" has kept a lot of brilliant people out of a sector that badly needs them.

So we removed every barrier we could find. No cost. No degree. No coding. No experience. No need to bring a friend. A mentor at every single table so nobody sits there stuck. And AI tools that mean a complete beginner can genuinely build something that works.

How the evening works

You will be in a team of five with a dedicated mentor who stays with you from the first

idea to the final pitch. Together you will:

• Find a real problem worth solving
• Validate it, by testing it on real people in the room
• Build a working prototype using AI and no-code tools
• Pitch it to a friendly panel of founders and industry experts

Running through the evening: short, practical talks on confidence, on AI and the future of work, and on how to network without dreading it. Plus prizes, certificates and

refreshments.

Who this is for

This is an inclusive event and everyone is welcome. Students, graduates, career changers, professionals, people with a business idea they have never started, and people who are simply curious about technology.

You do not need a degree. You do not need to code. You do not need any experience at all. The tools and the mentors exist precisely so that complete beginners build something real. Women and people from under-represented backgrounds are especially encouraged to come.

Come with friends, or come on your own and we will put you in a team. Nobody builds

alone here.
