Learn how to create curious alien wildlife from clay, and materials found in the park

Brookmill Park

Come to Brookmill Park and get dreaming, get making! Create your own imaginary future creature from materials you find in the park: twigs, leaves, grasses and seeds. Guided by resident park artist, Cash Aspeek, you'll be inspired to create strange new wildlife, with head, body, eyes and legs of many kinds made from clay and natural materials.You'll be invited to display your creature as part of Deptford X, renowned local celebration of visual arts. Details of display for confirmation.This session will be held outside. Each time slot will allow for three/four family groups. As COVID restrictions stand, this workshop format is permissible. Any changes will be updated nearer the time according to government announcements.
