Dr Greenwall,  is an international lecturer and an authority on tooth whitening and aesthetic dentistry extensively. Linda also runs a multidisciplinary private practice in London where she specialises in restorative dentistry and prosthodontics.  She is proud to be the event organiser and this is her 9th successive , annual conference. She is also Founder of the Dental Wellness Trust, a charity providing oral health education and  Outreach programmes to underserved communities in the UK and  overseas.

Attendees will gain insights into the fundamental concepts of AI, explore its diverse applications, and critically assess the benefits and risks associated with its integration into dental practices. Also outlining  both immediate and long-term use cases of AI, preparing participants to effectively implement and adapt to  such technological advancements.

While Implants are now considered a fairly routine treatment modality, a lot has changed over the past 30 years. From implant designs, techniques and even implant timings have changed tremendously over the years.
Zaki started his MSc in Dental Implants 25 years ago so he will give his insights on how vastly different implant therapy is now compared with what was done at the start of his implant journey. What are the current norms, what are the trends on the horizon and what the future holds. He will highlight the differences on our thinking with regards to delayed implants, immediate implants, immediate loading, partial extraction therapies, guided surgery and new grafting materials including extracted teeth and resorbable magnesium membranes and tacks.


Dental Implants, Past, Present and Future

Law influences every aspect of human activity and dentistry is no different. Insufficient knowledge of the medico-legal aspects regarding dental practice halts effective and safe delivery of patient care.
The MDU will be providing an overview of current ethical standards, consents and their types – negligence, determination of negligence, liabilities of dental practitioners and solicitors in dental practices.
With the rise in demand for cosmetic dentistry, it is important that ethical standards are not compromised as a result. The emergence of forensic odontology also ensures that every dentist must keep some kind of record for every patient they treat. AI technology provides the answer to faster and accurate output in such administrative tasks.
