Future Network ‘Art Quiz’: a ‘pub quiz’ style twist of our regular networking evening for creative people working in any artistic discipline.

Join us for a pub style ‘art quiz’, where guest artists put their spin on the night, deciding the rounds and themes of the evening; it’s a quiz that offers some light hearted fun, still with a chance to meet other creatives and hear about up coming opportunities.

Each evening will include an invited guest host, for this Future Network our guest host will be the brilliant, shaker and movement maker, performance artist, Sarah Blanc.

Plus we still have our regular 10 x 3 Minute Wonder open mic spots - open to any artist, designer, performer or other creative who would like to talk about their work, practice or current projects. We will be doing all sorts of unusual activities for you to get to know one another and you will be allocated a team when you arrive.

About Sarah

I am an Irish loud mouth choreographer and performer based in Walthamstow, London. I create solo work on myself and I am Artistic Director of Moxie Brawl. I am an Associate Artist with Candoco Dance Company and one third of Annie Vicky Sarah.

My work sits on the perimeter of dance and theatre and has been described as ‘dance meets theatre meets stand-up’. Both my solo practice and work with Moxie Brawl reflect my desire to create work that connects with people, that people can experience and engage with.

As a freelance choreographer/movement director I have worked with companies, organisations and artists such as Little Red Kettle, Complicite, Bryony Kimmings, Royal Opera House, Perth Concert Hall and The Place.

Some of Sarah’s works include – My Feminist Boner, a fierce, funny one- women dance comedy show about breaking down the rules of beauty. History of Ireland – a fun political dance theatre piece for 5 women and a sack of potatoes. Or appearing as Tracey, your average Oliva Newton-John, Royal family obsessed, working mens club aerobic instructor from Dagenham.
