Future Ready: Learn to Code

Curious about working in tech but don’t know where to start? Future Ready: Learn to Code is a series of free, beginner-friendly workshops designed to help you explore different areas of digital work in a relaxed and supportive environment.

Bring your websites to life with interactivity! JavaScript is what makes websites interactive. In this beginner-friendly course, you’ll learn how to write code that responds to clicks, changes content, and adds simple animations.What to expectBy the end of the workshop, you’ll:<ul><li>Understand what JavaScript is and how it works with the browser</li><li>Write scripts to add interactivity to web pages</li><li>Create dynamic features like popups or input forms</li></ul>This workshop runs from 10am to 3pm both days.We'll also be providing light refreshments throughout the day; however, please bring your own lunch.Who is this for?Adults aged 18 to 30 who have basic experience with HTML and CSS. You don't need extensive coding experience, but you need to be confident using a computer, browsing the internet and saving files.No experience with HTML or CSS?
