Multimedia artist, filmmaker and musician, Lawrence Lek in conversation with DJ, producer, artist and writer, Kode9 plus DJ set by Nanzhen Yang. The third in a series hosted at Reference Point in collaboration with 180 Studios, Future Talks is a series of conversations exploring the Future Shock exhibition at 180 Studios, and Alvin Toffler’s book of the same name from which its core premise derives.Featuring Ben Kelly, Gaika, Matthew Clark, Lawrence Lek and more, each Future Talk will spotlight an artist from the exhibition as we invite them to discuss their work, collaborations and visions for the future.Hosted at Reference Point, tickets cost £10 for the talk (commencing at 8.30pm) or £25 to view the exhibition beforehand at 6pm (last entry 7.00pm) + talk.7.00pm-8.30pm Nanzhen Yang ambient set8.30pm - 9.30pm Lawrence + Kode9 talk9.30pm - 11pm Nanzhen Yang set + Lawrence visuals
