Introduction to Futures Lab

Futures Lab is a UK Defence Innovation (UKDI) sponsored service created to inform and accelerate future capability decisions through the provision of impartial insights and knowledge from leading experts across industry and academia.

Defence sponsored Innovation Challenges are answered by agile and collaborative teams formed of Futures Lab’s growing network of providers.

Our unique selling point is our ability to commercially enable early engagement with SMEs, academia and industry at pace as we provide solutions to complex MOD challenges.

Virtual Event

As we receive numerous requests to join the network, we have set up a recurring introduction session every month.

The briefing will be with one of our command leads, who will aim to cover:

• Introduction to Futures Lab

• Provider Network Tasking Process and Ways of Working

• Commercial

• Overview of the Futures Lab Task Pipeline

• Open Q&A

• Opportunity for you to provide an overview of your own companies, and the type of work you would be interested in.

Meeting Link

When: Every 1st Monday of each month (except for Bank Holidays). Please select a date to register your attendance.

Time: 13.00 – 14.00.

Location: The briefing will be held virtually through Teams.

The meeting link will be open 5 minutes before meeting start.
