Suitable for everyone – no previous knowledge of Gaelic necessary.Join singer Deirdre Graham for this relaxed, fun afternoon workshop. You will have a chance to learn a selection of Gaelic songs inspired by traditional stories and folklore from the Highlands and islands, and linking to our current exhibition – Sgeul / Story: Folktales from the Scottish Highlands. 
Deirdre grew up on the Isle of Skye and was steeped in Gaelic culture from an early age. Her debut album, URRANTA, was released in 2020 to great acclaim, and she performs regularly across Scotland, as a solo artist and on collaborative projects. She has a keen interest in the stories behind the songs and set up the podcast, Gaelic Song Stories, in 2021.
