Event description

Description

Join us this October for our annual Galapagos Day event. This year we will be returning to the striking Royal Geographical Society, London.

This year's Galapagos Day will focus on the education and sustainability work that we undertake both in the Galapagos Islands and in the UK, and will be in honour of one of our founder trustees Nigel Sitwell who sadly passed away earlier this year. Hosted by BBC Galapagos presenter and GCT Ambassador Liz Bonnin, the evening will feature talks from experts about current projects and future ambitions which will inspire, educate and help ensure a sustainable future for the Archipelago.

There will be a chance to mingle with GCT supporters, conservationists, lecturers and scientists both before and after the talks.

Make sure you buy your raffle ticket to be in with a chance of winning a trip to Galapagos for only £2 - the winner will be announced at the end of the evening.
