Game Design Taster Day @ Elevate Lowestoft

Learn about all the different aspects of making a game and even get some hands-on experience in this all-in-one workshop! By the end of the event, you'll have learned what makes a game tick, why some games are more fun than the others, how art can influence the direction of a game and how to make some sound effects which you'll then put together in a no-code game engine (Construct 3)!

This course is led by Stacey Rezvan, a published narrative game designer and Jack Kean, a game designer who loves game jams!

Overview

This workshop is part of the Elevate:Lowestoft programme at The Fort in Lowestoft.

Attendance is free, but the tickets are limited. We will ask you to confirm your attendance ahead of the event, so we can move people up from the waitlist as necessary.

Join in our free workshops and create games! In these hands-on workshops you will craft digital stories, eye-catching game art, essential game development skills, and connect with games industry professionals.

All participants will receive a full scholarship so you can join free of charge. Lunch will be provided and travel funding (reimbursement of up to £25 in total per participant) is available.
