Game Republic: Game Dev Essentials

This is a Game Republic event on all the essentials you need for game development with speakers from major studios and platforms providing tips and insights on production, publishing, releasing a game, marketing and funding.

Speakers include Andrew Willans, Sumo Digital, with a very informative talk, "Chasing Flow State: Player and Developer Experiences" about the development and release of the game DeathSprint 66, plus Sophie Shanks, Kepler Interactive on "Publishing Best Practices", such as knowing when to set your Steam page live, audience communication, Wishlists and more. Kepler is a funder/publisher & most recently has enjoyed huge success with Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.

We'll also hear from Patrick Randall, Double Eleven with fantastic advice on co-dev and John Sanderson, PitStop Productions with top tips for game audio on a budget and Becky Jackson, Atomhawk with an essential presentation entitled "Not all Day Rates are Equal".

There'll also be other major industry guests attending the talks, drinks and networking.

Event starts at 4pm with sign-in, talks start at 4.30pm.
