Gamebridge 2026
The Gamebridge Student Games Festival is a free live-event happening on Saturday 27th June 2026 in Cambridge, UK. It has been designed to highlight the best work created by students/graduates from across the country, as well as supporting all attendees in their journey towards a career in games through talks, industry booths, bookable 1-to-1s with industry professionals, and other networking opportunities. Showcase & Awards
The main focus of this one day festival is to showcase the best work created by students and graduates from across the country. With awards and cash prizes being given by industry sponsors to the best and most innovative work. Entries fall into categories such as best 2D Art, 3D Character Art, 3D Environment Art, Design Excellence, Technical Excellence, and a Best Team Game.
And this year there will be a special dragons den pitching competition to win industry support for commercial game development.

Industry Talks, Workshops, and 1:1s
For those that attend there will be the opportunity to book a 1:1 slot to chat with someone from industry, show them your portfolio, and gain valuable industry advice. You'll be given a list of industry professionals and their job role so you can try to book a slot with someone who can really help you. There are also various industry talks and workshops across the day that will hopefully inspire and educate.
Venue
For the fourth consecutive year, Anglia Ruskin University are very generously hosting the event at their Cambridge campus on East Road. Please make sure you are able to get to the venue for the event before registering for a ticket.
Travel Bursary
Gamebridge will be operating a travel bursary for those who require financial assistance to attend the event. If you feel that this applies to you, there will be a link below for details. Please check back here in in the next few days.
Child Care Bursary
Unfortunately, our event has a policy of no attendees under the age of 17. Because of this we are offering a child care bursary to any student/graduate attending, that might need financial support with child care for the day.
