Games Exchange!

The Core TheatreTouchwood, England
Monday, Apr 27 from 2 pm to 4 pm
Overview

Join us for a practical, peer-to-peer Games Exchange to level up your teaching and inject new energy into your classrooms and workshops!

Join fellow performing arts practitioners, facilitators, and teachers for a practical, peer-to-peer Games Exchange; a space to share, try out, and discuss workshop games that support creative learning.

This session brings together professionals from across the performing arts and education to exchange ideas, not empty toolkits. Everyone attending is both a contributor and a learner, creating a mutually beneficial environment rooted in generosity, curiosity, and professional respect.

Participants are invited to bring at least one workshop game to share with the group. Games might be used for:

  • Warm-ups and ensemble building
  • Creativity and imagination
  • Focus, listening, and collaboration
  • Drama, movement, or interdisciplinary learning

The emphasis is on sharing approaches and experiences, not giving away entire workshop structures or proprietary methodologies. You’ll leave with fresh ideas, new perspectives, and a deeper understanding of how others adapt games for different ages, contexts, and settings.

Who It’s For

  • Professional performing arts practitioners & facilitators
  • Secondary performing arts teachers
  • Primary teachers
