We are super excited host a board game night. Plus, we're hosting a Hive tournament!

We are super excited to open our doors to the gamers of Cambridge for a board game night lead by our games expert Karl.You will have access to our wellcuratedlibrary of games on two trolleys. Karl will be running demos throughout the evening, perfect for those wanting to get in game with others

There will also be the opportunity to sign up for specific games, including Blood on the Clocktower (these are booked on the website in addition to General Admission and are free of charge).

The event takes place on the second floor cafe. The cafe will not be open.

Please use the back entrance of Waterstones facing Hobson Street and CHECK IN. Double Points Rewards are available to Waterstones loyalty card holders on any games purchases during the event.

On Friday 13 February, there will also be an opportunity to sign up for a Hive Tournament (with prizes)!

This will be a 5-round Swiss Tournament (no player is eliminated, everyone will play 5 games!). Duration: 2 – 2.5 hours. Hive PLM format (Pillbug, Ladybug and Mosquito included) with time control per player: 10min + 10sec per move.

Open to anyone, no minimum skill level required, just join our community and have fun! A learn to play session will be run at 6pm, an hour before the start of the tournament (7pm) so that anyone will be able to enter. Cheatsheets will be also provided to allow everybody to learn faster and enjoy!
