GameSpace x Entrepreneurship Week

GameSpace x Entrepreneurship Week

Overview

Part of Entrepreneurship Week 2026 (23-27 Feb) - uod.ac.uk/entweek, #UoDEntWeek26

Join GameSpace, Scotland’s video games themed business support charity, for a special evening as part of Entrepreneurship Week at the University of Dundee.

We’re delighted to welcome Cat Burton, founder of Goth Boss Studios, for an informal fireside chat exploring her journey through the games industry - from building a career in games to running a modern, healthy indie studio in Scotland.

Cat will share insights on:

  • What it’s really like to start and run a games studio
  • Creating sustainable, people-first studio cultures
  • The creative and commercial realities of indie development
  • The future of the Scottish games sector and where the opportunities lie

Whether you’re a student, developer, creative, founder, or just curious about games as a business, this is a chance to hear directly from someone building a studio in Scotland right now.

The session will include audience Q&A and plenty of time to meet others in the local games, tech and creative community.

Come along for 6pm, ready for a 6.15pm start!
