Research and Innovation Services / Finance

GaP Training will provide you with an introduction to the new Grants and Projects (GaP) system. By the end of this session you should confidently be able to generate your unique GaP number, which follows you for the life of the project, by adding the details to the system, develop your own costings and contribute to further development of the grant or project alongside RIS and Finance.
You’ll be given a full demonstration and will then be able to access a copy of the live system, enabling you to set up a dummy project and costing for yourself, scripts for this will be provided so no need to bring project information with you. Finance will add in salary information and then you’ll be shown how to make further changes to your project before submission.
More training sessions will be made available at Byrom Street, Redmonds Building and John Foster as soon as we are able to book these.
