Gathering Creativity: Project Gather Launch Day
Explore ocean plastics first‑hand with a beach clean and interactive sessions, collecting items for creative workshops later in the week
Project Gather launches on Sunday 1st March with an introductory event and beach clean, setting the tone for a month of creativity and coastal exploration. This first session invites you to come together, learn about the issue of ocean plastics first‑hand, and gather shoreline items that will be used in the creative workshops that follow. It’s a relaxed, welcoming way to meet the team, understand the aims of the project, and start thinking about how found coastal materials can be transformed into artwork for the final exhibition.
A light lunch is provided, making it easy to stay on, take part fully, and enjoy a full day of creativity and connection.
And why stop there? After the beach clean, participants are warmly encouraged to extend their day by joining one of our free creative workshops, all designed to help you experiment, learn new skills, and explore ideas linked to the coastline and the theme of “Gather.”
Whether you’re curious about environmental issues, interested in trying something new, or simply looking for a friendly and meaningful way to spend your Sunday, the Project Gather launch is the perfect place to start.
Make sure to sign up to some of our other Project Gather workshops throughout March.
