GDPR – stop talking and start doing

MyLife Digital was born out of a desire to ensure that individuals are able to control the use of their personal data, for the betterment of their own lives and for society as a whole. Then, in the EU, the GDPR came into effect and brought this ‘need’ into sharp focus, leaving many organisations unsure how best to enforce these legal, and ethical, requirements.The product we had already started to develop, to manage consents, took form. Consentric, a SaaS platform, has been developed to help organisations manage their customers consents and preferences compliantly.It acts as the single source of truth for consents across the organisational data silos, these consents can be managed efficiently to update each data source with the latest choice.Additional features allow customers to manage their consents ,and preferences, at a granular level at multiple customer touch-points, throughout their journey. This improves confidence for the organisation, and customer, that the most up to date permissions are in use, ultimately resulting in strengthened trust and engagement.

MyLife Digital

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will be enforced from May 2018, ahead of Brexit when the new Data Protection Bill will come into effect. Many organisations have started at least some preparation, others will have established steering groups and had project budgets signed off.
For those organisations still unsure how to take the first steps towards compliance with the new regulation, GMA Consulting, TermSet and MyLife Digital are hosting this event focusing on practical tools to assist clients on their journey towards GDPR compliance.
