Join us for our stakeholder event taking place on 14th March 2019. This is where we hope to bring stakeholders together to feed into our work on achieving gender equality in Wales. As part of the Gender Equality Review for Welsh Government we want to create a Roadmap for Wales. This Roadmap will act as a list of recommendations on how we can achieve equality across all aspects of women’s lives. The Gender Equality Review was announced in March 2018, Phase 1 was completed in July 2018 and the report can be found here.For Phase 2 of the Review, we are focusing on the areas where we can make a significant difference to equality. We know that decisions made about health, education, housing or childcare impact women across Wales but what we need to do is prioritise the areas that could make the biggest difference. We want to hear from you, about issues, challenges and opportunities to deliver change for different groups of women. We’re particularly keen to discuss issues which may not have received as much focus in the past and hear your innovative solutions to these issues.The event will run from 9.30am to 12.30pm at Flint Town Hall, Market Square, Flint, CH6 5NW. There will be a series of roundtable discussions focusing on the issues, challenges and any ideas you may have to improve gender equality. A more detailed agenda will be sent out closer to the event.Parking is available around the venue.
