This Defence and Security Accelerator (DASA) competition, run on behalf of the Defence Science & Technology Laboratory (Dstl), will focus on research that will inform Dstl on the credible benefits that might be achieved by development of generation-after-next wearable technologies.

Developments in functional and biocompatible materials, combined with novel measurement methods, have led to the emergence of a new generation of wearable sensor technologies. These technologies now allow us to move beyond the measurement of physical parameters, such as heart rate, and instead access information present in the molecules within an individual’s body fluids, e.g. sweat, tears, saliva, tissue fluids (interstitial fluid) or blood.

This online event is your chance to hear a summary of the competition requirements, and to ask your specific questions to the project team. The event will run as follows:
