Generative Painting Workshop with Stuart Faromarz Batchelor
The workshop will be open to 5 participants every half an hour between 10am-1pm on the 17th July 2019. During your 30 minute workshop you will work alongside digital artist Stuart F. Batchelor to create your very own generative paintings using traditional media and the artist's own proprietary software.
Using a laptop and a surface beside it used to draw and paint on, your traditional artwork will be animated to create amazing generative paintings!  After a short demonstration by the artist on how the process works, you will be allowed to work at your own pace for the remaining time to create as many generative paintings as you wish - experimenting with the mixing of traditional media and digital in different ways.The artist will guide you and help you through the process from the beginning of the session to the end. ​ At the end of the session you will have made several generative paintings which will be sent to you via email in the days following the workshop. All materials will be provided for you  Please try to arrive 5 minutes early to assure you get the most from your session. At the end of the session you will choose one of your digital paintings which will be emailed to you to keep at home.
