Georgian Ball craft sessions
Help us decorate the hall for our upcoming Georgian Ball and meet new people over a friendly craft session.
We are delighted to invite community members to join us in a series of creative workshops helping to prepare for our upcoming Georgian Ball at the Egham Literary Institute.
As part of the event’s decoration and interpretation, we will be running hands-on workshops at Egham Museum to create Georgian-inspired silhouette art and sustainable DIY candelabras, which will be used to dress the venue for the Ball. These sessions are a wonderful opportunity to contribute creatively to a local living-history event while working collaboratively with other community members.
Workshop dates:
- Saturday 10th January (11am - 1pm)
- Tuesday 13th January (11am - 1pm)
- Saturday 17th January (11am - 1pm)
All workshops will focus on:
- Creating silhouette artworks of underepresented groups within Georgian society
- Making candelabras from recycled and reclaimed materials, supporting sustainable and low-waste creativity
- Helping prepare the atmosphere and visual identity of the Georgian Ball
The workshops are free to attend, and places can be booked via our Eventbrite page. Alternatively, please email us to RSVP so that we can manage materials and numbers.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
