Marches Family Network'sAllinteractive Inclusionproject gathers information about and develops opportunities and activities for disabled and non-disabled children and young people in Herefordshire. We think that every child has the right to have choices, opportunities and experiences, to make friends, and to access play, leisure and recreational facilities. Making this happen in Herefordshire has benefits for everyone.Herefordshire's A Great Placeis a Herefordshire Cultural Partnership project being delivered byRural Media. Through grants, research and public events we work to support & strengthen Herefordshire's arts and heritage scene. Our 3 year programme is co-funded by Arts Council England and National Lottery Heritage Fund with support from Historic England and partners including Herefordshire Council, the Elmley Foundation and others.

Get a Proper Job is a careers event with a difference – young professionals from the creative industries will lead inspiring active workshops for young people from 4-5pm. This will be followed by an event for pupils, teachers, careers advisors and parents from 5.30- 6.30pm, where you can hear from successful local creative professionals about the challenges, benefits and pathways to careers in this growing sector.The Get a Proper Job event is unique in that it was created by young professionals for young people, and was born out of the <a href="https://www.the-shire.co.uk/about#herefordshire%27s_a_great_place" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Herefordshire’s Great Place</a> Young Creatives Board.As young professionals breaking into the creative industries we recognised the early-age experiences and doubts we faced when first considering a role in the creative industries. For many of us, and our parents, becoming an artist, photographer, illustrator or a poet, didn’t seem like a financially viable career option. Now that we are at pivotal points in our creative careers, we wanted to host workshops for students that are about to choose area’s of focused study (Year 9 and Year 11) to share our own experiences of what a working day might include, and also to show that the creative industries is a completely viable and totally unique career path to take.This event is free to attend and includes<ul><li>Panel discussion and Q&amp;A</li><li>Photography Workshop</li><li>Practical Art Workshop</li><li>Creative Writing Workshop</li></ul>Get a Proper Job is a part of the Creative Industries Federation&#x27;s <a href="https://www.creativeindustriesfederation.com/publications/creative-careers-programme" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Creative Careers week 2019</a>.
