Fancy trying something new?
The artists and makers at Kingsgate are offering to share their skills at a reduced price as part of BBC Get Creative Weekend. It’s a perfect opportunity to try something totally new – including felting, etching, and textile painting.
Programme
Textile Printing with Victoria Umansky Friday 7th April - 6.30 - 7.30pm Tickets £5
Learn how to apply simple printing techniques to texiles with beautiful results.
Dry Point Etching and Mono-Print with Theresa Pateman Saturday 8th April - 1.30 -2.30pm Tickets £5
Learn how to make a drypoint and mono print, or print a Lino cut. If you would like to spend longer developing your work, you can pay on the day to stay for an hour for an extra £3 or for the rest of the day until 5pm for £10.
Beginners Felt Workshop with Naori Priestly Sunday 9th April - 2pm-4pm Tickets £5
Try out a new making technique with felt.
