A half day event to connect with peers from all sectors and contribute to the work we're all doing to Get London Working.
-------
Join us for the first Get London Working Summit — a free, half‑day event bringing together partners from across sectors to connect, share learning and help shape our collective plans to Get London Working.
You have been selected as really important part of London’s employment support landscape, and we would really value your attendance at one of the 2 sessions.
Location: Toynbee Hall, London
Dates: Wednesday 6 May or Monday 11 May
Time: 9:00am–12:30pm
The Get London Working Plan is a shared commitment to build a truly integrated system of employment support; connecting skills, employment, careers and health services around the needs of Londoners.
This Summit is an opportunity to come together and:
- Revisit our shared aims, ambitions and actions
- Celebrate progress made since it's launch 6 months ago
- Reflect on shared challenges and possible solutions
- Learn from others and build new connections
- Explore how the plan connects with other key London strategies
This will be a participatory event, bringing together policy, strategy and delivery expertise from across London’s employment support landscape. To make sure it is valuable we want to hear from you about what you would like to discuss in our time together. What are the challenges you face, the issues you think we can solve together, or the opportunities that have not been realised which are stopping us from achieving our aim of a more integrated employment support system for the city. Please let us know your suggestions when ordering your ticket.
This event is jointly hosted by the Get London Working Group - made up of the Greater London Authority, NHS including Integrated Care Boards, Job Centre Plus, London Councils and Sub-Regional Partnerships.
Places are limited and we’re aiming for a broad mix of perspectives across both dates. Please indicate your preferred day when registering — flexibility is appreciated.
We look forward to seeing you there.
