GOGA was created to bring disabled and non-disabled people together to be active. It aims to engage the least active communities in fun, inclusive ways.

The open day will be a chance to see and have a go yourself at what activities we currently have on offer, including tai chi, walking football, pickleball, seated exercises and fun inclusive games.

We are also looking for volunteers to support GOGA activities. This can include:

• Providing one to one or group support and motivation

• Supporting with attending an activity.

• Making tea & coffee

• Help with setting up / clearing away of equipment

• Assisting the leader/coach delivering the activity

Volunteering for GOGA can be a very rewarding experience, offering the opportunity to meet new people, gain skills, and overall, have fun!

Volunteering for me gives me a greater understanding of exercises that helps older people. l always try and encourage people that I meet to come to the club and try it. - Amesbury Fitness and Friendship Club Volunteer
