Ustadha Nageba and Ustadha Badriyyah will share with us inspiring reminders on how we can make the most of this incredibly blessed month.
An introduction to the blessed teachers:
Ustadha Badriyyah Tahhan (Birmingham)
Born in the blessed land of Syria, Ustadha Badriya began her early studies in her native city of Damascus. In pursuit of knowledge, she has studied in various Middle Eastern countries with many luminaries including Shaykh Ahmed Sirajuddin, son of the late gnostic Shaykh Abdallah Sirajuddin Al Hussayni (rahimullah). Ustadha teaches Fiqh, Aqeeda and Seerah as well as poems in praise of the beloved Prophet may peace and blessings be upon Him.
She has had the opportunity to teach at the annual Dowra in Tarim (Yemen), under the auspicious guidance of al-Habib Umar bin Hafiz. She is settled in Birmingham with her family, carrying out many dawah projects in her community and nationally.
Ustadha Nageba Hayel (Liverpool)
Ustadha Nagebah Hayel left the UK at the age of 19 to study Arabic in Damascus Syria. After completing Damascus University’s Arabic Language programme, she moved with her family to Tarim, Yemen studying at the prestigious Dar al-Zahra for six years. Ustadha Nagebah also served as a teacher at Dar al-Zahra for two years before returning to the UK in 2006.
Her teachers include Hababa Nur bint Muhammad al-Haddar, Ustadha Zaynab al-Khatib, Ustadha Halimah al-Aydarous and other female scholars of the Hadramout valley.
Ustadha Nagebah is currently a resident teacher at Greensville Trust, UK and Dar al-Zahra, Liverpool
