Get Sh*t Done is an event series (named one of the top 30 Events in London by The Dots) and podcast (ranked No. 5 on iTunes) that empowers people through the stories and actions of world-class individuals. Created in 2017, it harnesses the power of community to inspire action.

‘Get Sh*t Done’ celebrates those that dare to do. Started in 2017, these events strive to create an open space for everyone in the room to bring their own ideas, questions, and aspirations, and work together to Get Sh*t Done. Whatever ‘it’ maybe!'

The event has a unique format at its heart; inviting open dialogue, fostering collaboration and celebrating curiosity. Split into two parts, it opens with a panel discussion with leading figures from creative industries – delving into their campaigns, initiatives or projects and their own unique ways of getting sh*t done.For the second part of the event we let the audience take the lead. This is your chance to reach out to each other, or our panelists, about anything and everything. This could be dealing with a problem at work, a question about taking your personal project to the next level, or even starting your own business.We guarantee you will leave feeling energised, motivated and ready to, literally, get sh*t done. You might even leave having found your next business partner or side hustle…

PANELISTSNana Bempah is an award winning Executive Producer in film and advertising, and founder and CEO of Pocc - a community and organisation accelerating equality for ethnically diverse people in the creative industries, through non-traditional ideas, creativity, campaigns and activism.Nana was named Pitch Magazine's Superwoman 2019, featuring on the front cover, WACL Future Leader 2020 and Campaign Magazine's Top 10 Trailblazers creating change in the creative industry. Nana features as a contributor to the bestseller Millenial Black - a book curated and authored by Sophie Williams which provides a roadmap for young Black Women striving to progress in the workplace in 2021. Nana is also currently undertaking a masters degree in Empires, Colonialism and Globalisation at the London School of Economics to examine the many ways 'Empire' still affects our lives today.Zoe Scaman has worked internationally in a variety of fields; brand planning, entertainment strategy, digital comms, product development, business strategy and innovation. At the start of 2019 she launched her own strategy studio, Bodacious. Prior to this, she worked at ground-breaking creative agencies such as Naked Communications and Droga5, film companies like Ridley Scott Creative Group and consultancies; such as Undercurrent, London Strategy Unit and The Upside. Scaman is currently leading a campaign to tackle discrimination and sexual assault in the advertising industry, following her viral blog post Mad Men, Furious Women.Nils Leonard has spent over 18 years in the advertising and design industry working across the most recognised and influential agencies in London, before recently co-founding Uncommon Creative Studio. Previously, as Chief Creative Officer of Grey LDN, Nils oversaw the most profitable and awarded years in the agency’s 52 years history and became one of the youngest agency chairmen in the world leading its brands globally and locally. A creative champion, agitating for change and diversity in the industry, Nils is on the board of trustees of D&AD and is listed as the Sunday Times 500 most influential people in the UK.

This event will be hosted by <a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/rrowntree/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Rebecca Rowntree</a>, an award-winning creative Director in Advertising. She is the founder of Get Sh*t Done part of her platform: <a href="https://www.thiswayup.io/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">This Way Up </a>.
